Matt: Up against Coline Aumard from France, what do you know about her?
Kasey: I actually have never seen her play before so there is a bit of an unknown factor going into tonights match. It’s exciting to play new people so I’m looking forward to the match.
Matt: You were disappointed after your first round loss at the British Open, how are you feeling leading into this event?
Kasey: I’ve had good preparation leading into this event, working with Rod Martin, so I am excited to compete and my disappointment in England has only motivated me more to do well in this event.
Matt: What has your training consisted of?
Kasey: I’ve been doing a lot of on court work focusing on game strategies and ball accuracy. I have been training in hot conditions in America and is similar here in France.
Matt: You played an exhibition match which was part of a Junior clinic, how was the experience?
Kasey: I was involved in junior clinics and played an exhibition match recently in Bermuda which was a great experience. The people really enjoyed it and it was my first visit to the island. I played the exhibition with World Number 27, Amanda Sohby who I may meet in the quarter finals of this event if we both win. I really loved the island and hope to get back there again soon.
Matt: Do you use any form of supplementation or is it just real food for you?
Kasey: I use protein supplements after a really tough match.
Matt: Do you have a favourite sport/team you support?
Kasey: Since I’ve been living in America for the past 4 years, I have been following more of the sports and NY teams there. I like the Jets and the Knicks but I will be really following and supporting the Australians at the Olympics.
Matt: First thing you pack before heading to the court?
Kasey: My equipment pretty much stays in my squash bag so the first thing I generally pack before a match is my squash dress.
Matt: If you could be a superhero, what would your superpowers be?
Kasey: I’d like to be able to read people’s minds. It’d be interesting the things you’d find out (and you’d probably find out certain things you wouldn’t like to know ha)
Matt: Anything you would like to say to your fans/supporters?
Kasey: I just really appreciate everyone’s support. You can follow me through my website www.kaseybrown.com.au or my facebook fan page facebook.com/kaseybrown.com.au
